The optimal G-Sync settings guide by Blurbusters recommends using NVCP V-Sync instead of the V-Sync option in game, or in this case Dolphin. Which V-Sync option is actually better? How does V-Sync in Dolphin actually work?

2021.10.18 07:05 RubyRedRoundRump Elliott Mintz - A light conspiracy
I could only imagine that Dorit's butt hole puckered when she laid eyes on him at the Chinese new year.
Did production bring him in as a potential plot piece? Or was he promised a follow-up appearance for keeping quiet after his first appearance?
These are the things that I ponder...
Ps. Bravo is so far up Kathy Hilton's ass it's embarrassing. Her WWHL episode was all fucking soft balls made to soften her image in light of Paris' documentary.

I think Jan runs off stage. While Charles is running to catch up with her his text pings. It's Oliver telling him Jan's bassoon cleaner was in Tim's place. After the song, Lucy comes back stage and sees Charles. She finds out her mother told him to stay away. But she doesn't want him to.

2021.10.18 07:05 Tazling Simply The Best? X-Booster, the "sleeper" box/fit app that imho beats the rest
I feel I really should review this app because... not enough people know about it, and imnsho it is the cream of the crop in the "whack things to tunes" genre. There are a lot of 'em out there: Beat Saber of course, the Grandaddy of Them All; FitXR with its many alienated players; PowerBeats VR; Synth Riders; anyway, each has its fan club. But it seems hardly anyone knows about the dark horse with the strange name, X-Booster.
TLDR: I have uninstalled all others and now only play XB.
1) Well, the big, major, huge, overwhelming reason is that it lets you easily and quickly use your own mp3s. It has an auto beatmapper that actually works quite well. So you don't have to do elaborate hackery to get a decent beatmap for a favourite tune. You don't have to download stuff from external websites. All you do is toss some mp3s onto your Q2, run the beatmapper on them (which only takes a few seconds), and start working out. The beatmap is then attached to that mp3 until you re-beatmap it. Most any tune with a steady tempo and a prominent percussion track will work.
This is particularly important to me because I simply cannot stand the music used by most of these box/fit whacker apps. I mean it's not just "meh, not really my thing" -- it's more like "oh gawd make it stop, I'll confess, I'll confess." Seriously, just can't abide 99 percent of the tracks used in these apps (including the ones they want money for). I now have about 140 of my favourite tunes in XB and 90 percent of them deliver a good workout. (It has playlists too!) Not gonna run out of tunes any time soon.
2) XB is super customisable. Not only can you use your own tunes, you can tweak many aspects of the beatmap -- some at creation time and some at playback time. You can tailor your workout to your personal preferences -- pure boxing practise, or boxing plus dodging, slicing, whatever. Duck obstacles coming at you, or eliminate the obstacles and just box. You can tailor it to your difficulty level, or your physical ability. (Bad knees or back? Turn off horizontal obstacles but continue to dodge vertical ones.) You can tailor the tempo and variety of targets and events from leisurely to insane. In other words, this is an app that everyone can use for cardio workout to music, from Grandma to the most ambitious FitXR or Beat Saber leaderboard warrior. And you can have several user profiles, for sharing with family members.
3) you can even customise the look-n-feel, from heavy psychedelic neon to low-key. There are three different arena designs and several palettes. None of them is realistic -- they all share a kind of Tron-era sci-fi vibe -- but at least you can decide how much eye candy you want to be distracted by. I keep mine dialled down to minimalist.
4) single purchase price, no BS, no IAP, no DLC, no subscriptions. Disgruntled FitXR players, this one's for you.
5) a hard working and responsive team of devs.
Of course, it also has the Usual Stuff, like leaderboards. It tracks time and calories. It rates your performance against your personal best. And it offers a set of built-in tunes that -- to my ear anyway -- are less obnoxious than the built-in tunes from the competition (as in, I can stand them, and some are even moderately fun to work out to).
This game is available for Steam PCVR and for Quest 2 standalone through the App Lab. And there's a free demo version, so you can check it out before deciding whether to purchase.
I've deleted all the other box/fit apps off my Q2 because their music was so offputting that I stopped playing with them in a very short time. Being able to use my own favourite energising tunes (including Tina Turner's "Simply The Best" which is how this review got its title) makes all the difference between "this is exercise" and "this is FUN". Which means I'm now working out regularly & can feel the difference in my stamina and energy. Also, I'm able to tailor the difficulty level pretty precisely for my age (which is semi-ancient) and fitness level (not Olympic), so I'm challenged... but not discouraged.
If you read the reviews on the Oculus app, they're remarkably consistent -- just about everyone who has tried this app loves it.
Have I nothing bad to say about this app, not one reservation or gripe? Heck, I can think of a whole list of things I wish the devs would add or fix :-) There's a bit of roughness around the edges that will have to be polished away before Oculus will let it in the official Store I'm sure. But the core of the game is sound, eminently playable, and major fun; and it's attracting a pretty passionate fanbase ... of which I've gradually become one after several hours of accumulated play time.
DISCLAIMER: I am not connected with the devs, other than as a happy and appreciative player of what I feel is the best box/fit cardio app out there. I think this is a sadly underpromoted and obscure app, and would like to see more people discover it. The (so far small) user community is full of enthusiasm and suggestions, and the devs appear to be listening -- so the future looks bright. I know I'll lose my puny place on the leaderboards as soon as more users join in :-) but that's a small price to pay for increasing the exposure of a really well-thought-out, honestly priced, fully customisable fitness app.
All you fans of the other big titles in this genre may now throw rocks at me, I guess :-) but that's OK, I'm in training to bat them all away -- to my favourite tunes :-)
