2021.10.18 05:25 SecretBooklet You absolutely should lie on your resume
In our modern workforce, you should lie on your resume all the time. Whether you fully make up everything or just exaggerate your skills.
Many employers have insane requirements and judge people for unfair reasons (job gaps, not outgoing enough). They require 5+ years experience to do stuff you can figure out in 10 minutes (sales, retail, customer service). By lying, you can have as much experience as you want. The only limit to your skill is that your backstory is consistent, believable and not too absurd. It also helps you get around job gaps.
"What if they find out?" Most lower-paying jobs don't even check so long as you tell them you have experience. But what about those higher paying ones? Plus it's always good to prepare right?
First, never lie via improvising. Always plan out a backstory/experience/personality before you even begin to apply to jobs. Rehearse if you have to, and keep a straight face. Secondly, you need to have some proof just in case the company wants it. So here's what you do. Have a friend (or pay someone online) pretend to be your previous employer. Put their number on you resume.
Even if they catch you, there's no consequences other than having the recruitemanager shame you for a bit. It's not illegal, and even if they go on linkedin with a lengthy rant about why no company should hire you (they're not), the entire world isn't gonna read that one post and deny you from applying. Most companies won't even know to look for it and it'll just be lost to time.
"I can't lie. Lying is bad/evil/immoral!" Right, you shouldn't lie to close friends or someone you're in a good relationship with. Why? Because you both care about and trust each other.
But in the workforce, that trust/care is gone. Your manager views you as a dot in a machine to extract money from. They hate that you have emotions cause they get in the way of them making money, and they will replace you with a robot the first chance they get. Some companies rely on outsourced child labor, and just overwork employees while paying them next to nothing.
Heck if you don't believe me, scroll through this subreddit for a bit. You'll find tons of horror stories about HR and management treating employees like garbage. And yeah it isn't all companies, but it's pretty close to all of them.

2021.10.18 05:25 xisnotx Ole should keep his job until he can't statistically win the league anymore...
I think teams tend to take on the personality of the manager. Their playing style. Zidane was about flair and consistency. Real was flashy and reliable. Mourinho was a defender, Chelsea used to win on defence. Arene Wenger is cunning. Arsenal was cunning. SAF is stout and resilient, Pep is tactical..etc etc
Now, what were Ole's strong points as a player...?
Exactly. Ole wasn't ever the best striker, but he showed up when it mattered.
I still think Utd can win the league with Ole, but it will only happen if he is given the chance to be Ole. Let him prove to be the key for a comeback. A supersub, late in the game, that scores a last minute brace and wins the game.
I think 1) He deserves that chance. 2) That his nature is "saving the day". 3) Teams tend to reflect a coaches personality.
He's built the best squad Utd have had since SAF. I say he should be given the benefit of the doubt.

2021.10.18 05:25 SadTumbleweed_ How come we never see the machines eating animals?
It’s revealed that the machines fuel themselves off of biomass and we see some animals consuming plant matter like the grazers for example, but we never see the machines feeding on animals

2021.10.18 05:25 Unable-Brother95 zaros godsword suggestion
I do think the osrs team is thinking to much inside of a box instead of out of the box :D
the zaros Godsword feels kinda underwhelming and its special attack seems to be inferior in pvm and pvp to other specials attacks, but i do think i can have it place in the game if you change it.
What i would love to see is something more unique and usefull inside of the game and its pritty simple:
Remove the specials attack from the godsword and add a passive effect to it.
having a passive effect to the godsword would make it more of a main weapon and not just a weapon for special attacks. (something a godsword should deserve and the godsword would be competing with the scythe of vitur)
so make the godsword shine where the scythe lacks and that is pvp so the suggestion for the passive effect:
i did not do any calculation but it should be something like the godsword has a 25% change that the next attack with the godsword will be @ 4tick speed. (now this can be lower or the change to proc can be different when you do some math)
now maybe with some good tweaking it could also be usefull for speedrunning with some crazy rng but not bis for average times.

2021.10.18 05:25 abysswalker935 I just had my best game ever
I’m an Xbox player. Haven’t been playing hunt for two long now maybe two months but I had played it some time after it’s official release a while back. Today I decided to start going solo in bounty hunt, went in with a officer carbine and a terminus handcannon. Went out with four hunter kills and both bounty tokens, Two kills each with both guns, hell of a fuckin time
